Throughout history the language of music has transcended cultural boundaries, economic classes, gender brackets, and age demographics. It has been and is one of the most powerful and far reaching art forms. J. S. Bach said that the purpose of music was "to glorify God and refresh the soul." At Northstar Church we believe that music is a powerful tool to draw people into the presence of God, to teach the truth of God's Word, and to reiterate His principles, and most importantly, to bring glory to His name. The style of our corporate worship music has been described as modern, real, and relevant. You will hear passionate modern worship songs, fresh arrangements of classic hymns, and songs written and arranged specifically for the body of Northstar Church, but most importantly you will be a part of an environment that makes much of God for who He is and all the great things He has done!
