Worship is the foundation of the Christian faith and the greatest commandment given to us by God (Matthew 22:37-40). At Northstar Church we believe that worship is more than music. It is a lifestyle of submission and sacrifice that is lived to bring glory to God through obedient love and adoration. It is our response to the revelation of God. God reveals himself to us in so many ways, through art, nature, our relationships with others, His Word, the Holy Spirit, and through circumstances just to name a few, and worship is our response both corporately and personally through the things that we say and do and the way that we live our lives. Our core desire within the Worship Arts Ministry at Northstar Church is to create environments that exalt God above all things, create pathways to experience intimacy with God, and create the opportunity to express gratitude toward God and to reflect these principles in our personal lives.

Music Team
Our music teams to an incredible job of using music to point people upward toward God. Whether it be modern worship songs or classic songs of faith our music team does an amazing job of bringing quality, relevant songs that give a voice to generations of worshippers at Northstar Church. We provide regular training opportunities and opportunities for community to share our lives among the team and with musicians in the community here in Bay County.

Drama Team
We use drama in about 30% of our services each year and we consider it to be an amazing way to challenge ideas and pose questions in a creative way. We also provide training and community opportunities for everyone involved in the drama team to spend time together and with other actors, writers, and set designers. We value performance arts and long to use them in a way that point people toward God.

Visual Arts Team
Visual arts are a powerful thing to reiterate and bring life to the things of God's Word and the Christian life. We have a team of skilled and inspired people who work in all mediums from painting to sculpting, from photography to drawing we use many pieces in our services each year. We also have regular training and community opportunities to hang out with each other and build relationships within the arts community in Bay County.

Creative Writing Team
Words are powerful, comforting, encouraging, and challenging. They can help you to imagine and help you envision new things. We believe in that the literary arts are a beautiful form of worship. Whether poetry, short-story, fiction, or any other form of writing we believe that it can be used to bring glory to God. Our Creative Writing Team participates in our services regularly and is a part of many events here in the arts community in Bay County in order to build relationships with other literary artists.

Production Team
Our production team helps to create amazing, quality environments each week at Northstar using multimedia, lighting, and audio to enhance everyone's experience and help make our time together with God memorable and exciting. We provide regular training and community opportunities to help our production team grow in their passion and knowledge of all things production.

Service Coordination Team
Our Service Coordinators help us to communicate life-changing opportunities each week at Northstar in a way that is clear, concise, and creative. They handle announcements, sharing about the connection card, and other vitally important information on Sunday mornings.
