Missions & Outreach

At Northstar we believe the greatest call that we have as believers in Jesus Christ is to share the great news of salvation with others (Matthew 28:19-20). We believe that the best way to do that is by loving God and loving people by meeting their needs and building relationships with them. We encourage individuals and small groups to reach out to those who don't know the joy of salvation through Christ.

We also provide many strategic outreach opportunities throughout the year called local missions projects that create a place for you to serve people and build relationships with them. Make sure that you check the Upcoming Events calendar to find out when and where the next Local Mission Project will be held.

Strategic Local Partnerships

Global Missions : We also encourage individuals and small groups to participate in missions globally. We currently support a number of missionaries that have left from within the body of believers at Northstar Church to do foreign missions in Papua New Guinea, South America, Africa, England, and other places in the U.S. and around the world.

We are now taking teams of people on short-term foreign mission trips to share the great news of salvation and serve people in any way that we can.

  • Mission: Birmingham, UK (Accomplished - November 2005)
  • Mission: Dallas, TX (Accomplished - July 2006)
  • Mission: Baton Rouge, LA (Fall 2007)

Mission Organization Partnerships: We have chosen to partner and promote a few organizations within the body of Christ at Northstar and make information about these organizations and the opportunity to support them here on this web space. There are many ways to be involved in missions and outreach at Northstar Church.
